This company is a complete scam. I agree with the rest of the reviews.
I have a couch that I purchased two years ago and bought a five year protection plan. The recliner started making a popping noise when it was reclined and it seemed like it was off of the frame track but the couch is too heavy to pick up and check it out so I called in and made a report.
They do not wanna honor it because they say it is from normal use, if it is normal use, then Bobs discount furniture truly sells discount furniture if its not even in the last two years when I bought the protection plan, I was told it would cover anything and an electrical recliner that I should buy this #Warranty when I called the work order, it took almost 2 weeks for them to get back to me and every word in the work order Was a complete opposite of what I said I even corrected the guy when he read it back to me, but he did not change his wording when He typed it up. Did send a technician out and I was given a 12 to 3 Timeframe well it was after 3 oclock and I had to call Guardian back just barely caught them before they left for the day, considering their back, and I am in the west And they said they technician was running late. He did not show up till after 6 PM in the middle of my dinner. I received an email for days later saying that they had closed my claim that it had been repaired successfully so I called them back.
They reopened the claim only to turn around and send me another email to tell me that they would not fix the furniture because it was from normal view, which is straight up *** And even spoke to a supervisor who would not do anything because she said it was not from an accident and I told her one am I supposed to do sit there 24 seven and monitor what happens to my furniture thats impossible and this is not from normal use And all she could say was they would not fix it. The power cord had also become shred and I had to wrap electrical tape around it and they did not want to fix that either I even called furniture back and told him I wanted a refund for the warranty I paid because it was useless and theres nothing they can do either And this is not the first time I had to deal with this 25 years ago I had purchased a couch from Jennifer leather and I had issues with it and they refused to fix that too. Strange how I knew when I made this call that I was not gonna get anywhere with this company so I am gonna blow them up with bad reviews on every website I can find and I will do the same for Bobs discount furniture or whatever the *** their name is I paid over $3000 dollars for a couch to last two years . My couch was immaculate condition as it was really sad on.
Even the technician said, so guardian would not even tell me what they consider an accident should I have told them my kids were playing volleyball on it clearly not because it states that jumping on it isnt covered yet that is an accident but thats not what happened, I would not purchase anything from either one of these companies. I learned my lesson they are liars and they are rude and they do not honor what they sell totally false advertisement, and by reading all these other reviews I dont know how theyve stayed in business this long and they should have a lawsuit at least A class action lawsuit, and I will look into this Worst company ever

This is by far the biggest scam that is being run against the consumer. I have been sold their insurance plan on many pieces of furniture that I have purchased through Bob's Furniture.
Each time a claim is put in, the company finds a reason to not proceed. The employees of this company seem to be incentivized to not support their customers and are rewarded for this effort. I had an incident where the company did deem the fault to be supported by the plan in which the frame of my sofa was damaged. The technician came to do a "temporary fix." but stated that the permanent fix would require a full replacement or rebuilding of the frame.
I reached back out when the failure resurfaced as expected per the technician's note and the company is not honoring to complete the full fix. Please note, that getting them to come out for the fix upon first notice took over 6 months, including over 15 hours of phone conversation/wait, and 20 email exchanges. To this day, no resolution to further support has been granted.
As consumers we have the right to be protected and the practices of Guardian Protection Products (GPP) are quite deceptive to the American consumer. This is my formal complaint about the company and hope some serious action is taken on them.

Scam Warranty
I purchased a couch from Bob's Discount Furniture and additionally purchased a 5 year warranty from Guardian. After just having the couch for a few months, the bottom frame and seam started to separate on a nearly new couch with hardly ANY wear.
Guardian send a technician over to fix the issue which resulted in the couch being nailed together. I was skeptical that it would be enough to resolve the issue but since I had a 5 year warranty, I waited to see if any issues arose after "the fix". Well, this same issue happened again because the frame is cheap and they are refusing to cover the damages. This couch is only used for its intended purpose should be covered by the warranty as it was the first time, as this should be considered accidental at the very least.
All I do is sit on the couch and it's falling apart on both sides?? They are refusing to help me and their customer service is awful.
